Paint it Grey

Yesterday Remon took futher care of the dented fender.
After some hours of hard labour, the fender was finally sprayed in grey filler! Great work!! Also the door was worked on.

The Dash .

After some words with J. Curulla, who owns this 1963 max wedge dodge , I had the opportunity to buy a complete restored cluster from him. Hans of Usa2ned helped me out with the transportation and payment. I shortly hope to receive it so it can be installed!

Fender repair

Next week Remon started working on the dents of the right finder. After some work we got the fender of the car and Remon started working on it.
Most of the dents are gone. Now he's going to prepare it for a new layer of paint.

Damage fix

To get good reach of the damaged areas, Remon and I took the fender of and found out that the dodge is very solid also in those spots. Now that the fron also came of, it's time to get that area also tidy.

The unwanted find

The day I collected the dodge, had to be the day. A day full of joy and tension.
Which was there all day, until I met the dodge. The car was molested and abused.
The complete right front fender was dented and damaged from the upper trim molding across the lower section of the door. The damage was fresh. And after I picked it up, made some pictures and got the damage documented, we took it home..

The Find

This was the text from the original add, like I have found it on craigslist in California.

Have a rare 1964 dodge modle 440 it has been restored but sitting for a long time.
needs some tlc & a new tranny it has a built 360 bored out 30 over alot of horsepower & torque less then 5 thousand miles on engine.
i have most all of the original parts. im asking x obo but worth more then that in rarity alone.

The beginning

On the 28th januari of this year I bought an 1964 dodge 440 post car in California
After a long time of searching I had found one on craigslist!
I got in contact with Evan and after a short time I decided to buy it and get the dodge transported to Holland.
Evan owned the dodge for 12 years and did get it for his sweet 16.
After an short period of waiting it finally arrived in Holland.
Koen of vintage vehicle transportation took care of the transport and we collected it from Marlog on April the 2nd.
